The first breakfast was a sumptious meal and I had been waiting for quite some time on trying the Taiwan local breakfast. It was lightly taste and not as sinful as KL local breakfast.
The potato salad and man tou was good. Just love it!
Plain porridge with some skewed meat and peanuts. Not bad.
After our breakfast, we were busy hopping into the bus and getting ready for our first destination. Yang Ming Shan. If we are lucky enough, we may have the chance to see the blossomed sakura. Oooo..just can't wait any longer! Si beh mou liew..still want to take a picture in a bus while waiting...
The eye bags! I really need to cut down the water drinking before sleep habit!
The weather was very windy by the time we reached there! But still anxiously walking towards the garden of Yang Ming..I want to see Sakura!!!!
Very windy....and bloody cold!
But before we managed to take a glimpse of sakura, our tour guide guided us to a garden full of wonders. Tour guide name is Xiao Xing and she is really adventurous! She is a native there so she told us alots of edible fruits, flowers and something below which taste like water chestnuts. And it was detached from the roots of some kind of plant.
The above fruit from the roots of the below plant:
And there was wild flower. I called it wild as I dunno what its real name.
In the garden
As we walked, we passed through a sulphur waterfall with a heavy sulphur smell!
Before running towards the sakuras, managed to get a shot on this magnificent view. What a skill!

Yang Ming Shan Flower Fest 2009
After a long walk, we finally reached managed to see a fully blossomed sakura tree!
Mommy and me with sakura!!
Sakura...
Sakura..ohh..sakura...
Trying to pose with sakura branches
Mina san..Iku Sakura desu!
From this picture, it tells me to go get a better camera. The wind was blowing and the sakura petals were falling like a snow. But with my dumb cam..I couldn't get any of that into this picture!
Oh...how lovely..My first confrontation with sakura. If I have the opportunity to visit Japan and its sakura, that definitely will be another amazing experience. After crazily running and snapping photos of sakura, we finally reached the entrance of the Yang Ming Shan Flower Fest 2009. But as time was our constraint, we just managed to snap some pictures at the entrance. We did not make it through the whole garden. As according to Xiao Xin, if we were to visit the whole garden, it will take us almost half a day.
