A whole NEW beginning

After days of consideration, I had finally made up my mind to take the final step!

I had been working very hard to earn every little penny from the job.
Yet, I was addressed of not hardworking enough.
Still, I was like a hypnotised person to agree with all of such saying.
As time went on, my strength, my moral, my motivation had been slowly fade away into my shadow as I walked down the path I chose.
I never realised how much I had lost in this race.
I had been chasing the time as though 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 12 months a year is not enough to complete my work.
I never realised I did put a stop to all surrounding me in order for me to become whom I always thought I want to be.
And when reality hit me, it hit me right onto my face.
Hard and loud!

I regretted the words I told my daddy.
How I wish I can turn back time.
To had put a stop on my career so that I can have more time with him.
There is a saying: Human being is selfish, as we take things for granted!
This so true!
I regretted I put a stop to the time I can have with him in order for me to move up in my career.
How I wish I never say the words I said before closing the door and left him alone at home.
I am so truely regretting all this!

Yes, you may say I should have move on as there is nothing much I can do.
Well, I agreed.
But my hardwork and commitment was not being appreciated.
Beside the fixed income, I received nothing but intolerable demand.
It seems that he lost his track of time or place his memory somewhere that he had forgotten that I am only a staff whom promoted too fast too soon.
It was already my best out of me in order to make up to the shortfall.
My development is too slow..and maybe he is to anxious about it.
I rest my case here..

Had enough..totally!

Daddy left and now mommy is the only closest family I had.
Yet with work, I barely see or visit her.
I am so sorry, mom.
I know you are lonely, but I need to get back to work
That is the common excuse from me, and I hang up even before she able to say GoodBye.
She never shows it, but I know she is sad.
Sad to see her daughter working so hard.
Sad to see her daughter to spend her time working rather than talking to her.
Mommy, sorry. Please forgive me.
I will never let you feel this way anymore.
I had made a promise to myself.

So, here I go..I had chose to take a turn and move on to another path for my future.
Dare not to say it will be way better compare to the current one, but I am positive that my life will definitely be better!!

Wish me all the best friend!!

Get-a-way to Genting

Was looking forward to this short break after all the hassle I had went through in my work place and the congested lifestyle recently. Not only to relax myself in the resort but also would like to try my luck striking jackpot or doubled my capital of few hundred bucks to few thousands!!
Easy to say..but I really desperately need additional tax exempted income like wins from gambling to lighten up my current credits..And my all time favourite Chanel tote bag!! I am so in love with that....

Ok, so we plan to get up early in the morning and on the go before we were caught in the traffic. Everyone saying it was a bad idea going up to Genting during this Labour Day break as this highland will be mounted with people and rubbish! But too bad..I already paid for the room rate. Nothing much can be done to change our plan.

As always, things do not workout as planned!
After karaoke and mahjong at Jane's the night before, and my self indulgence on my favourite tv dramas..I only slept at 3 in the morning. So by the time I opened my eyes, it was already 1030 morning. Getting ready was another hassle for me. So another hour was spent.

After rushing to fill up our stomachs and filling up our car, we manage to get on the road by 11.30 morning..The traffic did not surprise us at all as we already expected for such a long awaiting line of cars going up the highland!

We reached awana by 12.00 and thank goodness, they allowed us to check in early as that. As usual, check in queue was damn long and by the time we got our room is already 1.00 afternoon.

The hotel provides free shuttle bus to skyway (the cable car) and the ride was free for skyway too. So we decided to try out the cable car ride. The queue was extremely long..again, the ride which was suppose to take 15 minutes took us an hour before we can got up the highland.

Our stomach already growling and we decided to save the Ah Yat for dinner. So we opt for this Shanghai restaurant which suppose to serve Shanghai delights..Nah..food sucks and extremely pricey! Should opt for McD instead.

Next, we should be filling up our wallet and purse. So we tried our luck in casino. As expected, when we come out, we are hundred bucks lighter. Damn!

So we should be doing something thats provide joy and yet worth paying! Which are the video games!!!! Ghost squad, Daytona, Time Crisis and Photo Hunt. We spent quite some time at the video game zone though! Then, we decided to take a bite from Baskin..As we were tired of walking, we decided to have a cheap karaoke session which provides really cheap and tasteless dinner.

Since we were tired of walking all day, we decided to head back to our resort and call it a day.

Never in my life again to take a cable car alone in Genting!!!!!
It was like a nightmare or in those creepy horror movie scene or the sci fi ones!
The night was quiet but filled with crickets and bugs buzzing..
There was no light in the cable car itself which send chills down to our spine..
Thank God we had another couple behind us!

We reached back to resort safe and sound..took a hot bath and crawl back to bed.

The next day, we basically tuned ourselves into slow motion mode. We had a moderate but sumptious buffet breakfast..a short nap before refreshed ourselves in the shower. Headed back to home.

We were exhausted from the journey though we did not do much.

So we had a nap again...filled our full weekend with tv juices, take-away foods, video games and sleeps.

Now feel recharged and in a very active mode.

Skipping work in the weekends are well paying off right now!
So gotta pen off and return back to my over loaded work load before my boss starts yelling at us again!!!

Should I?

Tired and miserably sad.
Will I be able to wake up and see the sun rise the next day?
Will I be able to live my life like everyone else?
Your presence had stumbled my routine mundane life yet again.
How could you be so cruel to torture me now?
Should I be able to stay strong and wave good bye?
Should I be able to take you out of my life?
Will I miss you like those who think what loves is?
Will I love you like those who think she deserves it?
With the doubts I had in my mind now, I am unable to think straight.
But after a year long of tolerance and patience, I think I deserve more than an apology.
I deserve a break of freedom.
I deserve a life like everyone else did.
A different world, but with fate and friends, brought us together.
Your presence had stumbled my boring life.
Need no worry myself.
I am sure you could not fit in my heart.
There is no place for you.
It had been taken by someone else.
Who had broke my heart a long long time ago.
Finally, I had the gut to admit it.
You and you..no one else own me.
Except God and myself.
I am dedicated to myself.
Why should I stand and wait for you?

I should have just leave!

03.03.09 @ Yu Ren Ma Tou

After a great workout walking up and down the hill @ Yang Ming Shan.. we went over to a local restaurant to have some light lunch. The food rated at average. Due to hunger, I did not snap any of our lunch. But there was nothing to shout about. Normal and below average taste.
Right after lunch, we headed to Yu Ren Ma Tou. The greatest Lover's Bridge where my beloved Meteor Garden scenes were done here. Awww...what a sweet memory! But before you can cross the Lover's Bridge, you have to walk over a gigantic white bridge!

Walking up...Up and Up..

HARLO!!!!!!

Damn windy and freaking cold here!

Cute little dog enjoying her walk..

Another shot at the Yu Ren Ma Tou

Me and Mommy

Finally at the Lovers' Bridge!!

The wind over here was even worse!

Thinking of Meteor Garden mah...

Freezing!!

Dao Ming Tze!!!

My hair...phoosh..

Last posing before leaving!

Taiwan is all about environmental care and recycling. In KL, we differentiate our rubbish by the colours of the bin. But in Taiwan, they use words instead. "Common Rubbish". Something new to me though!

Caught this Chinese wording before we left. Can you read that word?

Then off we go to another destination. But the drive almost two hours so we were brought to a location to fill up our stomach again for some local delights. They call that place as Lao Jie. But I just could not recall which Lao Jie we went to. FYI, there are zillions of Lau Jie in Taiwan. Will follow up with pictures on Lao Jie and food we tried in next post instead. Of course, before ending our second day in Taipei, one of the Must Go Destination is the Flying Cow Ranch!!!!!

2nd day in Taipei [03.03.09]

By the time we touched down Tao Yuan, it was already night and nothing much we can do anymore except filling up our stomach with local taste. We will be having an early day start the next day so getting enough sleep is the most important thing to do. After the hot bath, I already sound asleep and here come Taipei the next day.

The first breakfast was a sumptious meal and I had been waiting for quite some time on trying the Taiwan local breakfast. It was lightly taste and not as sinful as KL local breakfast.

The potato salad and man tou was good. Just love it!

Plain porridge with some skewed meat and peanuts. Not bad.

After our breakfast, we were busy hopping into the bus and getting ready for our first destination. Yang Ming Shan. If we are lucky enough, we may have the chance to see the blossomed sakura. Oooo..just can't wait any longer! Si beh mou liew..still want to take a picture in a bus while waiting...

The eye bags! I really need to cut down the water drinking before sleep habit!

The weather was very windy by the time we reached there! But still anxiously walking towards the garden of Yang Ming..I want to see Sakura!!!!

Very windy....and bloody cold!

But before we managed to take a glimpse of sakura, our tour guide guided us to a garden full of wonders. Tour guide name is Xiao Xing and she is really adventurous! She is a native there so she told us alots of edible fruits, flowers and something below which taste like water chestnuts. And it was detached from the roots of some kind of plant.

The above fruit from the roots of the below plant:

And there was wild flower. I called it wild as I dunno what its real name.
In the garden
As we walked, we passed through a sulphur waterfall with a heavy sulphur smell!

Before running towards the sakuras, managed to get a shot on this magnificent view. What a skill!

Me and some wild flowers

After a long walk, we finally reached managed to see a fully blossomed sakura tree!

Mommy and me with sakura!!

Sakura...

Oh..sakura..

Sakura..ohh..sakura...

Trying to pose with sakura branches
Mina san..Iku Sakura desu!

From this picture, it tells me to go get a better camera. The wind was blowing and the sakura petals were falling like a snow. But with my dumb cam..I couldn't get any of that into this picture!
A close up of sakura petal

Oh...how lovely..My first confrontation with sakura. If I have the opportunity to visit Japan and its sakura, that definitely will be another amazing experience. After crazily running and snapping photos of sakura, we finally reached the entrance of the Yang Ming Shan Flower Fest 2009. But as time was our constraint, we just managed to snap some pictures at the entrance. We did not make it through the whole garden. As according to Xiao Xin, if we were to visit the whole garden, it will take us almost half a day.

Me and mommy

Where is my eyes?

I am almost slipping down from the seat!

And finally, before we depart to the next destination, we managed to get a group photo of our tour members. Great members. Punctual maniac and crazy members!
